Our Super Pup classes are suitable for dogs over 5 months old
Socialisation
Our course helps strengthen your dog's focus on you, supporting them to navigate a variety of situations.
A key part of this process is working with your dog - through the intensity of teen hormones - to remain calm and focused around other people and dogs.
5 months & older
Our classes are structured to be appropriate for adolescent dogs, ensuring we build on those skills!
You'll learn how you can handle your dog to prevent common teen issues and ensure we are continuing to improve their confidence and build your relationship.
Welcoming Environment
We’re all about creating a fun but calm space where you and your dog can learn together.
We are family-friendly and welcome everyone getting involved, as this helps with consistency. When attending with young children, please bring an additional adult to ensure you can fully participate in the class.
What will you and your dog learn?
Our comprehensive six-week course is designed to help you and your dog continue improving on the training that you covered in Puppy School classes, helping you build a strong and lasting foundation together.
Settle
A vital but tricky skill - we build on the settling skillset that we've started in Puppy School classes.
Lead Walking
We will look at how we continue to build loose lead walking skills through a time period where your dog is focused on independent exploring.
Recall
We build games to help take advantage of hi-jacking your dog's hormones and getting them focused on having fun with us!
Socialisation
We focus on true 'socialisation' - getting your dog focused on you rather than everything else going on in the environment.
Good Behaviours
Build on skillsets learnt in Puppy School classes to teach a variety of good behaviours - like waiting at a door, being gentle around food, etc.
Common Challenges
Gain insight into what your dog is going through as adolescencce hits - focusing on body language, motivations, and more so you can effectively support them.
