Puppy School Classes
Our Puppy School classes are suitable for puppies up to 20 weeks old (once they are cleared by their vet to come)
Socialisation
Our course helps strengthen your puppy’s focus on you, supporting them to navigate a variety of social situations.
A key part of this process is helping your puppy learn to remain calm around other people and dogs — a foundation that is carefully developed throughout our classes.
20 weeks old & under
Our classes are designed for puppies aged 20 weeks or younger, giving you the perfect opportunity to build a solid foundation before those teenage hormones kick in!
You'll learn how to motivate your puppy using reward-based methods so you and your puppy enjoy training from the start!
Welcoming Environment
We’re all about creating a fun but calm space where you and your puppy can learn together.
We are family-friendly and welcome everyone getting involved, as this helps with consistency. When attending with young children, please bring an additional adult to ensure you can fully participate in the class.
What will you and your puppy learn?
Our comprehensive six-week course is designed to guide you and your puppy through all the essential training basics, helping you build a strong and lasting foundation together.
Settle
A vital but tricky skill - we teach the concept of settling in a variety of places.
Lead Walking
A challenging skill to learn for puppies who are excited to explore the world!
Recall
We focus on ways to reinforce a quick return so your puppy comes when called - even in challenging scenarios.
Socialisation
The focus is on building your puppy’s engagement with you, and also developing confidence in people and dog greetings, and comfort with grooming and handling.
Following Cues
Learn methods to teach your puppy essential cued behaviours (sit, down, etc.). We teach you essential training principles that can be used across a variety of cues.
Common Challenges
Gain insight into your puppy’s body language, motivations, behaviours and more so you can effectively support them as they grow.
